Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion for Fasta Delivery Services. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, onboarding merchants and partners, strengthening existing relationships, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue streams.
The BDM plays a critical role in expanding Fasta Delivery’s footprint by building strong partnerships with supermarkets, vendors, service providers, and corporate organizations while positioning the brand competitively in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities within the delivery, retail, and service sectors.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase vendor adoption and service usage.
- Support expansion into new locations and service areas.
Merchant & Partner Onboarding
- Identify, approach, and onboard supermarkets, stores, restaurants, and service vendors.
- Present Fasta Delivery’s value proposition to potential partners.
- Negotiate partnership terms, commissions, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and handover to operations teams.
Revenue Generation & Partnerships
- Develop revenue-generating partnerships and corporate collaborations.
- Identify opportunities for sponsored listings, promotions, and joint campaigns.
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to launch partnership initiatives.
- Track revenue performance from partnerships and adjust strategies accordingly.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key partners.
- Resolve business-related issues and escalate operational concerns when necessary.
- Ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
Sales & Negotiation
- Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements.
- Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial deals.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and onboarding targets.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and partnerships.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on performance data.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new merchants onboarded
- Revenue generated from partnerships
- Partner retention and satisfaction rate

- Conversion rate from leads to active partners
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–6 years experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, FMCG, or digital platforms is an advantage.
