Platform & Operations Coordinator

Role Overview

The Platform & Operations Coordinator is the central operational driver of Fasta Delivery Services. This role is responsible for ensuring that the delivery platform runs smoothly on a daily basis, coordinating people, processes, and technology to guarantee fast, accurate, and reliable service delivery.

The Coordinator serves as the link between the digital platform, vendors (stores), dispatch riders, customer support teams, and management. Success in this role requires strong operational judgment, attention to detail, real-time problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Core Responsibilities

1. Platform & System Oversight

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fasta Delivery website and mobile application.
• Monitor order flow, platform uptime, transaction accuracy, and system alerts.
• Ensure product listings, pricing, availability, and vendor information remain accurate and up to date.
• Identify platform-related issues and liaise with the Web/App Developer for timely resolution.
• Test new features, updates, or fixes before full deployment.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch Coordination

• Oversee real-time order processing from placement to final delivery.
• Assign and coordinate dispatch riders based on location, availability, and delivery priority.
• Optimize delivery routes to reduce delays and operational costs.
• Track active deliveries and proactively intervene in cases of delay, cancellation, or rider challenges.
• Ensure proper order confirmation, pickup, and handover procedures are followed.

3. Rider Operations & Control

• Coordinate daily rider schedules, shifts, and coverage.
• Monitor rider performance, punctuality, compliance, and customer feedback.
• Enforce safety standards, delivery guidelines, and professional conduct.
• Escalate disciplinary matters and performance issues to the Head of Operations.
• Support rider onboarding and orientation in collaboration with HR/Management.
