Job Summary

The Store Relationship & Field Officer serves as the vital link between Fasta Delivery Services and its network of partner stores, merchants, and field locations. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and strengthening productive relationships with stores to ensure smooth delivery operations, timely dispatch of goods, and excellent service standards at the store level.

The officer will also be responsible for on-ground field activities including monitoring store performance, troubleshooting operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Partner & Store Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partner stores, merchants, and third-party vendors to facilitate smooth order processing and dispatch.

  • Act as the main point of contact for stores regarding order fulfillment, delivery schedules, and operational updates.

  • Conduct regular visits to partner stores to assess service quality, operational compliance, and relationship health.

  • Communicate customer feedback, delivery challenges, and store concerns back to the internal operations team for timely resolution.

Field Operations Support

  • Monitor and support daily store activities related to order preparation, packaging, and dispatch readiness.

  • Ensure that stores adhere to Fasta Delivery’s operational procedures, packaging guidelines, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Assist stores in troubleshooting system issues related to order management or delivery tracking.

  • Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to store staff on platform use, delivery protocols, and customer service standards.

Data Collection & Reporting

  • Collect and verify operational data from stores, including order volumes, dispatch times, and delivery discrepancies.

  • Prepare detailed field reports outlining store performance, operational bottlenecks, and improvement recommendations.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to store relationships and delivery accuracy.

  • Support inventory and stock verification activities when required.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Experience, and Dispatch teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery from stores to customers.

  • Support the onboarding of new partner stores by conducting site visits and readiness assessments.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align field activities with overall business objectives.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure partner stores comply with legal, safety, and company standards at all times.

  • Identify and report any non-compliance or risks in store operations.

  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement in store handling and dispatch processes.


Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Experience

  • At least 2 years experience in field operations, vendor management, or store relationship roles, preferably in logistics, retail, or delivery services.

  • Experience working directly with retail stores, merchants, or third-party vendors is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust and collaboration with partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to analyze operational data and prepare insightful reports.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle field challenges independently.

  • Proficiency with mobile technology, delivery platforms, and CRM systems.

  • Ability to travel frequently to field locations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
